About

Establishing shelters for unhoused population.

We aim to create dignified living spaces for people, and fulfill basic needs.

Collaborating with the System Research Society, SafeHarbor is reaching people in Hyderabad. The idea sparked from living in Delhi and understanding that government efforts weren't being used by a large population due to a lack of consistent execution and maintenance. Thus, we wanted to start at a smaller scale which allows for human contact, safety, and respect in creating livable spaces.

I began volunteering with the SRS Foundation three years ago, driven by a vision to create affordable housing solutions for rural India. Our first prototype is set to be built in Nemragomula, Hyderabad, to serve as a temporary, low-cost shelter. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive, lasting impact in my community.
