Railway Inspired Bedding System

Inspired by the Indian Railways, which provides optimal and comfortable sleeping conditions to travelers, I modified the shelter to have a three tier system and eventually pivoted to a two-tier system, considering logistical efficiency.

Again inspired by the double decker Indian Railway, I designed a two tier model which can host a total of 12 people. By providing more individual space, it is aimed at giving a certain level of space for each resident.

The three-tier shelter can host a total of 18 people. The second layer is foldable—using hinges—and can be opened as per requirement. A ladder has been installed enabling the inhabitants to climb up and occupy the beds.
